Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist

A 1600-hour course of cosmetology training conducted under Title 16, Chapter 9, of the rules and regulations issued by the California Board of Cosmetology. This course includes the training skills needed to prepare the trainee for taking and passing the license examination of the California Board of Cosmetology.

Prerequisites

Must be at least 16 and have completed the 10th grade. Reading entrance exam. Applicants passing the entrance examination will be placed on a waiting list and notified when there is an opening in the program. Must attend Cosmetology Orientation.

Length of Course: 1600 hours.
