DATABASE PROGRAMMER

Prerequisites: High school diploma or GED or equivalent; passing scores on WONDERLIC SCHOLASTIC Level Exam (testing basic math and intermediate English knowledge)

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:

The program trains students to become skilled entry-level Windows programmers. The student will experience developing Microsoft Windows-based applications using structured programming languages. This program provides comprehensive instructions on usage of Microsoft Windows, MS Access, MS Visual Basic, MS SQL Server and Java.

The overall objective of the program is to prepare the student for a career in the field of Database Programming.

Upon successful completion of this program, graduates may obtain employment as:

  • Visual Basic Programmer
  • Java Programmer
  • SQL Programmer
