The Lowrider Nationals, the premiere custom car show, returns to the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California on Sunday, August 7, 2005, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A new web site is being launched to provide enthusiasts, fans and participants with easy access to information about Summer Slam 2005, the theme for this year's event. Cash prizes, trophies and awards for best custom hydraulic cars, bikes and regular show cars will be awarded in seven National title categories - Single Pump Car, Single Pump Truck, Double Pump Car, Double Pump Truck, Luxury, Car Dancer and Truck Dancer. Attendees will experience the art of car dancing, high-caliber choreographed jumps and the excitement of car hopping - tipping the front of cars to see how high they hop.
